1. Who we are

AI Career Consultant ("AI-CC", "we", "us") operates the Telegram bot @career_apply_bot and the website careerconsultant.io. Contact: support@careerconsultant.io.

2. What we collect

  • Telegram identity: your Telegram user ID, username (if set), first name, language code. Provided by Telegram when you interact with the bot.
  • Master Resume content: the information you give us during onboarding — career history, skills, target roles, achievements, etc.
  • Generated documents: CVs, cover letters, application Q&A we produce on your behalf.
  • Usage data: which features you used, which vacancies you reviewed, which documents you generated.
  • Payment metadata: plan, payment dates, amounts, status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.

3. What we don't collect

  • We do not collect your card number — payment provider does.
  • We do not access your Telegram contacts or other chats.
  • We do not auto-apply to vacancies on your behalf.

4. Where we store it

Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1), encrypted at rest using KMS-managed keys. Backup snapshots replicate to AWS Ireland (eu-west-1) for disaster recovery.

5. Who we share it with

  • Telegram: messages necessarily pass through Telegram's infrastructure.
  • OpenAI: portions of your resume content are sent to OpenAI for document generation. OpenAI does not retain it for training under the API terms we use.
  • Apify: we use Apify only for public-vacancy ingestion — your data is not sent to Apify.
  • Payment provider (Nomod): only payment-flow data.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party marketers.

6. How long we keep it

  • While your subscription is active: full Master Resume + working data.
  • After subscription ends: 2 notifications, then full deletion of Master Resume + generated documents 14 days later.
  • Retained beyond deletion: Telegram ID, payment history, aggregate usage counts. No CV content.

7. Your rights

  • Export — send /export to the bot to receive your data.
  • Delete — send /delete to the bot to wipe everything immediately.
  • Access / correction — email support@careerconsultant.io.
  • If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK: you have GDPR rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, complaint to supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

This website uses one cookie: aicc_ref (30-day, first-party) to remember which campaign brought you here, so we can credit partner traffic. No third-party trackers.

9. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we notify active subscribers via Telegram before the change takes effect.
